XIX World Youth and Students Festival is taking place in Sochi. The president of the Crimean football union, mr Iurii Vetokha visited the panel discussion on "Investment to in coming generation: key to future football".

Speakers of the discussion were FIFA Secretary General ms Fatma Samoura, Head of Dutch Academy "Feyenoord" mr Richard Grootscholten, Vice-president of International Student Football Union mr Sergey Kolushev, Deputy Justice Minister of Russian Federation and President of the International Student Football Union mr Alu Alkhanov, Officer of Football Union of Russia of fighting discrimination Alexey Smertin and others.

The speakers offered different options at the panel discussion, how to fall in love with football the young people and how to prove importance of this game – from cooperation with world leaders till reconstruct parking into football fields.

FIFA Secretary General ms Fatma Samoura talked about future and goals of the main world football organization that she sets in the matter of working with young people and conducting of youth tournaments.

Iurii Vetokha, President of the Crimean football union: "I attended with great interest the thematic discussion about the future of football. FIFA Secretary General ms Fatma Samoura told about the plans of the world football organization to double the number of playing football girls. FIFA has several projects aimed at developing school and student football now. FIFA plans to closely cooperate with the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation on the project "Football at schools" and other issues. I think that we also need to pay more attention on development of football at schools in the Crimea, including to conduct special lessons in football game. We have something to work on, and we intend to adopt experience of FIFA at this area".

Friendly football match between the Stars Team and the World Student Team took place after the panel discussion. Stars Team won with a score of 3:0, for wich played president of CFU mr Iurii Vetokha and scored the first goal for his team.

All participants of thematic discussion agreed that the game of football is important topic in conversation about the future of our children.
