IV Yalta International Economic Forum started on April 19, 2018 in Crimea, where mr. Iurii Vetokha President of the Crimean football union took part. The CFU President told about conduction of Children and Youth’s football Year in Crimea, promotion of children sport and healthy lifestyle in the course of section "Integration through Sport 2.0" work.
Ms. Natalia Parshikova the State Secretary-Deputy Minister of Sports of RF, mr. Alu Alkhanov the President of International student football union and Deputy Justice Minister of Russian Federation, ms. Elizaveta Kozhicheva the Minister of Sports of the Republic of Crimea, representatives of Republican sports federations of Republic of Crimea took part at the work of this Forum section as well.
The CFU President mr. Iurii Vetokha told in his speech to participants and guests of the section about measures conducting within the frameworks Children and Youth’s football Year and professional football development in Crimea.
"First of all, I want to say thank you to Russian Ministry of Sports, which comprehensively develop football in Crimea since formations of Crimean football union. This is symbolic that in the Year of World Cup conduction was proclaimed the Children and Youth’s football Year in our Republic within the framework of it we have already conducted the huge children tournament "Crimean Spring", where took part more than 700 children of different ages. The traditional spring tournament "Arena Yevpatoriya Cup" gathered record number of teams at this year: 86 teams came to the competition from different Russian regions and neighboring countries. The municipal stage of Cup of the Head of the Republic of Crimea tournament among general education institutions teams has already started. 250 teams take part in it. Also, tournament "Graduate Cup – 2018" will take place in Crimea for the first time, where will play graduate teams of children and youth’s sports school.
Children- is the future of our country and especially happy that one of the Crimean football player was invited to Russia youth team, in line-up of it he went abroad to training session", – said mr. Iurii Vetokha.
Ms. Natalia Parshikova the State Secretary-Deputy Minister of Sports of RF noted significantly achievements of Crimean football union and wished success in further development of football at the peninsula.
