On the eve of World Football Day, Head of the Republic of Crimea mr. Sergey Aksenov made a working visit of the headquarters of the Crimean football union, where took part in the solemn celebration of the football coaching staff of the peninsula.
Also, the event was attended by the President of the Crimean football union mr. Iurii Vetokha, the Minister of Sports of the Republic of Crimea ms. Elizaveta Kozhicheva and Crimean football community representatives.
So, mr. Sergey Aksenov looked over the photo exhibition at the glory gallery of the Crimean football at the beginning of the event. Then, mr. Sergey Aksenov met with the CFU staff, presidents of Premier-League football clubs, coaching staff of the children and youth’s football of the Crimea.
President of the CFU mr. Iurii Vetokha made a report on the state of affairs in Crimean football at the beginning of the event’s official part. Particularly, he noted that Crimean football achieved good results in a short period of time. Then the head of the CFU Youth Football Committee mr. Gennadiy Sapozhnikov told the audience on the state of affairs in the children and youth`s football in Crimea.
The CFU President mr. Iurii Vetokha, put forward an initiative to proclaim the 2018 year in Crimea as the Children and Youth`s Football Year. In turn, Sergey Aksenov supported the initiative and entrusted the Ministry of Sports of Crimea to develop a set of relevant activities together with the Crimean football union.
Sergey Aksenov presented well-worn honors to the best children and youth`s football coaches of Crimea and football veterans.
Turning to the audience, Sergey Aksenov noted the positive dynamics in the Crimean football development. "You saved football in the Crimea, did not leave the players. Words of gratitude and respect for your work! At the same time, the Government of the Republic of Crimea is aimed to create conditions for the children to engage in mass football. I am sure that yard football is available for a lot more children now", -said the Head of the Republic.
Also, Sergey Aksenov congratulated the audience on World Football Day and added that Crimean football clubs will receive support next year all. "State unitary enterprise of the RC "Krymenergo" will assign 60 million rubles for the Crimean football clubs support. I think this will be a definite help for you. We will try to increase the amount of support in the future. We would like to create normal sports conditions together, especially in countryside area",- added the Head of the Republic.
The working meeting of the Head of the Crimea with the CFU president, mr. Iurii Vetokha, was held after the solemn event.
