Ms. Natalia Parshikova the State Secretary-Deputy Minister of Sports of Russian Federation visited Sevastopol and Simferopol within the framework of her two-day working visit to peninsula, where she met with the governor of Sevastopol, Dmitry Ovsyannikov and the Head of the Republic of Crimea mr. Sergey Aksenov.
During the meeting with the Head of the Crimea on November 17, in which took part and the Crimean football union president Iurii Vetokha, were discussed issues of assistance to Crimean football clubs from extra-budgetary sources, and the possibility of fan zones organizing in the Crimea during the World Cup, which will be held in Russia in 2018.
Mr. Iurii Vetokha, president of the CFU:
"We will meet once again with mr. Sergey Aksenov in the near term and will discuss in detail the possibility of providing financial assistance for our football clubs. It was about partner assistance from extra-budgetary sources, from large financial groups or representatives of big business. Also was raised the issue of fan zones organizing in the Republic of Crimea during the World Cup 2018. Final draw stage of the Championship will take place on December 1, where we hope to meet with FIFA representatives and discuss with them the possibility of fan zones organization in the Crimea (as a special football area), and do not deprived the Crimean football supporters and to involve them in the major football event in the world".
Also Natalia Parshikova held a working meeting with the leaders of all Crimean professional football teams at the headquarters of the Crimean football union.

"My working trip to the peninsula was connected not only with the physical culture and sports development in the Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol, but first of all with the football development. The results that I got after talking with the leaders of Sevastopol and the Republic of Crimea can be described as positive. The football development on the peninsula is according to the strategy that was agreed by the Ministry of Sport of the Russian Federation in due time and this model has worked well as yet. We see development in different aspects and directions, which we can recommend with time to others sub-federal units of Russia. Crimean football union will be not left without support – CFU will receive subsidy from the federal budget in next year".
