The Crimean football union Open Winter Cup starts on next Sunday, February 3. 8 teams (professional and amateur) take part in the tournament this year, they were divided into two groups.
Group "A": FC "Sevastopol", PFC "Incopmsport" (Yalta), PFC "Kyzyltash" (Bakhchysaray) and "Avangard-Incomsport" (Yalta).
Group "B": FC "TSK-Tavriya" (Simferopol), FC "Krymteplitsa" (Molodezhnoe), FC "Yevpatoriya" and FC "Chernomorets" (Sevastopol).
The fields of sports complex "Skif" (Novopavlovka, Bakhchysaray district) will be basic stadiums for the teams from group "A", and the fields of sports complex "Arena-Crimea" in Yevpatoriya will be basic for the participants from group "B".
Teams that will gain the first and second places at groups, will be includes to the semi-finals. The team which gained first place in group "A" (field owner) and the team gained second place in group "B" will take part at the first semi-final match. The teams which gained first place in group "B" (field owner) and second place in group "A" will playat the second semi-final match. The semi-final duels will be on February 16.
The final match of the CUP is planned on February 20. The meeting for third place will be at the same day.
Let us note, that the place and time of the matches can change during the competition because the CFU Open Winter Cup takes place during the team’s training sessions.
