The CFU Cup – 2017/18 final will be held on May 9 in Simferopol

The final match of the Crimean football union Cup season – 2017/18 will be held on next Wednesday, May 9, where "Krymteplitsa" from Molodezhnoe (Simferopol district) and FC "Sevastopol" will play.

Both clubs conducted for 5 matches on the way to final.

The rivals met with amateur teams from Open championship of peninsula at the 1/8 stage.

"Krymteplitsa" won from Yalta "Artek" with the score of 5:1 in away game, and "Sevastopol" conquered Bakhchysaray "Kyzyltash – 2" with even more score – 7:0.

"Teplitsa" won from main team Bakhchysaray "Kyzyltash" in sum of two games with total score 5:1, and "sailors" resisted again to team from Open championship of Crimea at the 1/4 stage – Dzhankoi "Spartak-MAIB". Sevastopol didn’t feel any troubles at the matches with Dzhankoi, at first won with the score 5:0 at home, and scored two unanswered balls in return leg game.

"Krymteplitsa" met with CFU PL championship leader FC "Yevpatoriya" at the 1/2 final matches. Molodezhnoe was in ahead with the score 5:0 in the 70^th minute at first match in Agrarnoe, but managed to miss two balls at the end of the meeting, having won at result with the score 5:2. "Yevpatoriya" was close to make a sensation at return leg, having led in the 77^th minute 2:0, but goal of "Krymteplitsa" defender Rollan Pogoreltsev brought team from Molodezhnoe to CFU Cup final three minutes before the match end.

"Sevastopol" competed with "Rubin Yalta" at the semi-final matches. "Sailors" won with the score 2:0 at first game in Sevastopol, and won from opponent with the "dry" score at return match in Yalta – 3:0.

Let us note, that FC "Sevastopol" is the only one who didn’t miss any ball at the CFU Cup.

Thus, FC "Krymteplitsa" (Molodezhnoe) and FC "Sevastopol" will play at the final match of the Crimean football union Cup season – 2017/18.

The final will take place on Wednesday, May 9 in Simferopol at the "Fiolent" stadium (boulevard Franko, 30). The game starts at 16 o’clock. Admission free.
