Crimean Football Union (with special status) was founded on July 2015 and operates, considering the decision of the UEFA Executive Committee on December 04, 2014, "on the recognition of the Crimea Republic and the city of Sevastopol special football status of the territory".

 

The CFU in its activities is based on the provisions of the Statutes of the organization as well on requirements and regulations of FIFA and UEFA.

 

The basic goals of Crimean Football Union are:

  • the development and to popularize football in the Crimea, in all its varieties,
  • the development of Youth and mass football;
  • the development and consolidation of football infrastructure;
  • improvement of competition system at all levels of mass and professional football;
  • preparation of highly qualified specialists necessary for Crimean football: coaches, referees, managers, other specialists.

The principal direction of organization activity since day of founding was and is preparation and conduction of competitions on football among Crimean football union Premier League teams.

The main competition under the aegis of CFU is Crimean football union Premier League championship and conduct in 4 rounds.

The participants are professional football teams from Crimea according to "the Regulations of the Crimean football union Premier League championship on football among professional teams of football clubs", who pledged to comply and fulfill the requirements of FIFA, UEFA and the Crimean football union.

There are eight teams who took part at the championship.

The games of the championship are taking place on the stadiums, which are in different form of property and management. 4 stadiums – in state and municipal property, 4 stadiums – in private.

THE COMPETITIONS AT PARTICIPATION AND PATRONAGE OF CFU:

 

REFEREE BODY

"School of young referee" is working at the CFU. Students are trained on the newly published the Laws of the Game of the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA).

The best students of the school are entered to the reserve of Crimean football union professional referee body at the end of training and on the grounds of the examinations results.

The training and methodological sessions of CFU Premier League referees and inspectors are organized and conducted. All successfully completed theoretical and practical training preparation receive a "Certificate of compliance" at the end of the session, and they are allowed to work on the CFU Premier League matches, as well as other CFU competitions.

 

The Crimean football union holds and will hold an active social position and will make every effort to support all inceptions that are aimed to develop sport and promote healthy lifestyle in the Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol.
