Physical test for football referees of the peninsula was held at indoor track of Department of Physical Culture and Sport of Taurida Academy of Crimean Federal University on February 23, 2019 in Simferopol, where took part 34 referees which work on the matches under the aegis of the CFU, as well 20 referees who work at the matches under the aegis of the Republican Football Federation of Crimea.
The program included the FIFA physical training test, it determines the referees’ readiness for speed and distance endurance.
Football referees and inspectors passed a theoretical test earlier consisting of 15 questions.
The Head of the CFU Referees Committee Andrey Priimak:
"Some of the referee could not pass the test on health grounds, and those who was passing the standards coped mostly successfully. The referees who did not pass both the theoretical and the physical training tests will get a chance to try their hand again exactly in one month. In case of a success they will be included in the referees list admitted to the judging of the CFU championship matches and the games of the Crimean Open Championship".
