Crimean football clubs will be provided with material and information support – Sergey Aksenov

Head of the Republic of Crimea mr Sergey Aksenov held a meeting with representatives of the Crimean football union and republic companies, where discussed the football financing issues. Mr. Iurii Vetokha the President of the Crimean football union attended the meeting.

Mr. Sergey Aksenov emphasized at the beginning of event that it is necessary to consolidate support of Crimean football and actively develop the direction. According to him, it was decided to assign 60 million rubles for the next year at the expense of state unitary enterprise RC "Krymenergo" for the Crimean football clubs support to ensure their participation in the Crimean and All-Russian competitions. "I think that is a normal amount of assistance at the initial stage so that the Crimean teams can feel confident. Thanks to the enterprise, as well as deputy prime-ministers Vladimir Serov and Igor Mikhailichenko for participating of the issue decision. Crimea need football, our young people aim to be engaged in it, and it’s need to create the necessary conditions for it. It’s applies to all state unitary enterprises -monopolists. Enterprises "Chernomorneftegaz", "Krymgazseti", "Voda Kryma" and others will also bear loads about sponsoring our athletes", - said the Head of Crimea.

The Crimean football union representatives appealed to Sergey Aksenov during the meeting about the strengthening of information support for football events in the region. In turn, the Head of the Republic instructed the issue to the Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea, Igor Mikhailovich to take it under control. Particularly – to secure 100% broadcast matches with the Crimean football teams participation.

In addition, Sergey Aksenov thanked the audience for the work and support of sport branch.
